Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 health pandemic, the City of Golden Valley has closed facilities, suspended programs and events, and made several operational changes.

On March 16, 2020 the Mayor of the City of Golden Valley declared a local emergency under Minnesota Statute, section 12.37. In accordance with that declaration, all City Council meetings will be conducted by telephone or other electronic means until further notice.

The City Council asks for the community's help complying with Governor Walz’s Stay At Home order, which was passed to slow the spread of COVID-19 (City Council Message To The Community 3-30-2020).
