City Council Meetings

Watch on TV or Online

Meetings are televised live on City Cable Channel 16 and replayed daily at 6:30 pm. Meetings are also webcast live and are available for replay on demand.

When: 6:30 pm, first and third Tuesday of each month (unless other notice is given)
Where: City Council Chambers, Golden Valley City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Road (unless otherwise noted)

Work Sessions

The Council also holds regular study or work sessions at 6:30 pm the second Tuesday of each month. Sometimes these sessions are held after the 7 pm HRA (Housing and Redevelopment Authority) meetings. Meetings are open to the public unless designated as closed executive sessions to deal with confidential matters such as lawsuits or labor negotiations.

Addressing The Council

The public is encouraged to attend all open meetings and can address the Council during Public Hearings and Open Forum.
