Submit Your 125th Anniversary Event

Do you have an event you think will fit Golden Valley's 125th anniversary? Would you like to brand it with the 125th Anniversary Logo? Read the criteria below and submit your event.
Events are subject to the 125th Anniversary Planning Team approval. Approved events that comply with City publication policies will be featured on the 125th Anniversary events page of the City website and, when appropriate, may be featured in other promotional materials.
Event Criteria
The event must:
- highlight Golden Valley in a positive way
- be held in Golden Valley
- provide opportunities for the community to participate (be inclusive)
- celebrate Golden Valley’s heritage by honoring the past, celebrating the present, and imagining the future
- be self-supporting (not requesting funds)
- have a plan for implementation
- incorporate the 125th Anniversary logo or theme
- be complementary vs competitive to other events planned
- define audience appeal
- have a positive impact on Golden Valley's community image
