Run the Valley - 5K Race/Walk, 10K Race
Run the Valley, the Golden Valley Human Services Fund's annual 5K/10K race and 5K walk, has become a successful fundraiser for organizations that benefit the community. The GVHSF allocates the funds to local human service organizations.

Begins and ends at Brookview Community Center (get directions). The 5K and 10K races will be chip-timed.
T-shirts (while supplies last), water stops and post-race complimentary snacks will be provided. Runners’ times are posted at the end of the race at raceberryjam.com and andersonraces.com.
Routes
The certified course runs through residential Golden Valley. Start and finish near the Brookview Community Center entrance, 200 Brookview Parkway. This is a new route for 2012.

Awards
Commemorative medallions are given to the first place male and female runners in each age category (under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+) for both the 5K and 10K Runs. Walkers do not receive awards.

Register in person at Brookview Community Center, 200 Brookview Parkway (M-F, 8 am-4:30 pm)

Register by mail or fax anytime, but entry form and fee must be received by 3 pm Friday, April 13. Fax entry with VISA/Mastercard information to 763-512-2344. - Online
Register online at www.zapevent.com or www.active.com by April 12. There is an additional fee for online registration. - Race Day

Race Fee
- $25 before March 1
- $30 March 1 - April 13 by 3 pm
- $40 on race day from 7 - 7:45 am
Race Packets and T-shirts
Pre-registered runners can pick up race packets and long-sleeve T-shirts April 12 (1-7 pm) and April 13 (8:30 am-3 pm) at Brookview Community Center. All others will be picked up on race day beginning at 7 am.
Register before March 1 to guarantee your T-shirt size. The GVHSF will try to accomodate T-shirt size requests after March 1.
T-shirt Contest
The deadline for entries in the 2012 Run The Valley T-Shirt Contest was January 5, 2012.
