Water Heater Replacement

Water heaters must be listed and labeled and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and the Minnesota State Plumbing Code.
Permit Requirements
- Turn in Plumbing Permit application and fee to the Inspections Department, 7800 Golden Valley Rd, Golden Valley, MN 55427
- OR apply online through Golden Valley's E-Permit systems
Required Inspections
- Final
- Post the inspection report card on the job site until the final inspection is completed.
- Notify Inspections when installation is completed.
- Schedule all inspections at least 24-48 hours in advance (please have your permit number available). You can reach the Inspections Department between 8 am and 4:30 pm at 763-593-8090.
