City Wraps Boone Ave Water Main Project

Traffic at Golden Valley’s Boone Ave and 10th Ave intersection returned to normal operation today as the City of Golden Valley wrapped up a water main rehabilitation project and removed construction signage.
The project, part of the City’s infrastructure maintenance program, involved the rehabilitating the water main along Boone Ave from Golden Valley Rd north to the Boone Ave cul-de-sac. The City contracted with FER-PAL Construction USA to clean the water main and install a new liner. The project included digging access pits in Boone Ave, setting up a temporary water supply to local properties, and restoration.
