About This Project

Hennepin County, in partnership with the City of Golden Valley, is reconstructing Douglas Dr from Hwy 55 to Medicine Lake Rd (County Rd 70).

County reconstruction work is anticipated to be complete in the fall.

This project will create a safer and more efficient road for all users by adding turn lanes, improving sidewalks and adding trails, widening the right-of-way for shoulders and bike lanes, and redesigning certain intersections to improve traffic flow.
