As Demolition Day Approaches At Old Brookview, Services Are Limited Or Will Be Moved

As demolition day approaches, the old Brookview Community Center is shutting down. All Brookview Golf operations will be moving to the driving range building on Mon, Sept 25. All other Parks and Recreation services will operate out of City Hall until the new Brookview building opens in December.

TheĀ Brookview Golf regulation course will remain open through November, weather permitting, with fall golf rates will starting Mon, Sept 25. The Par 3 course will close Sept 25.

The Brookview Grill will offer limited snack options through Sept 24.

Lawn bowling greens are now closed. Lawn bowling will return mid-summer 2018.

All Parks and Recreation operations will be working out of City Hall until the new Brookview opens. Those who want to register for recreation activities or events in person must come to City Hall at 7800 Golden Valley Rd.

Demolition of the old Brookview Community Center is tentatively planned for Oct 9. The new Brookview will open in December, with a public grand opening celebration scheduled for Dec 1.
