Absentee Voting For 2017 Election Begins Sept 22
All eligible voters in Golden Valley can vote absentee—in-person or by mail—beginning Friday, Sept 22.
Vote Absentee By Mail
Voters must fill out an application to get a ballot. Paper applications are available in English, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Vietnamese, Russian, Chinese, Lao, Oromo, Khmer and Amharic.
The ballot will be mailed to the address on the application within one to two days of receiving the application. Completed ballots must be received by the City on or before Election Day, Nov 7. Voters can return ballots by mail or in person.
Absentee voters do not need to be preregistered to apply to vote. However, you can take steps to make the application process smoother (preregister for the election). Check here to see if you are already registered to vote.
Vote Absentee In Person
Golden Valley residents can vote absentee in person through Nov 6 at Golden Valley City Hall.
