Mn/DOT Updates Traffic Signal Timings Along Hwy 55

In response to the start of CenterPoint Energy’s Stage 2 construction at Hwy 55 and Winnetka Ave in Golden Valley, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) has updated coordination and timing of the Hwy 55 traffic signals between Hwy 100 and Hwy 169.
Maintenance Work At Hwy 55/Winnetka Ave Causes Lane Closures, Detours

CenterPoint Energy is inspecting the gas line that runs north-south through the intersection of Hwy 55 and Winnetka Ave, causing lane closures and turning restrictions for both roadways throughout the project. Stage 2 of the project started Oct 8. The project will be completed in three stages and is expected to take four to six weeks, depending on repairs needed.
