Science Explorers: Camp CaterpillarAges 4–6

Our earth is a wonderful adventure just waiting for you! As a caterpillar camper, you will begin a new exploration each day as we learn about our planet. You will investigate insects, plants, animals and the weather with fun activities, songs, stories and more. $66 ($71 non-resident). Code: 10704.

Science Explorers: Buggy For BugsAges 4–6

Beautiful butterflies, lovely ladybird beetles, and bees are just a small part of the insect world. Join Science Explorers as we learn about insects and bugs as we explore how they are different from each other. We will investigate the life cycles of these amazing creatures as we learn about metamorphosis. We also create beautiful “bug art”, play games, and much more. $66 ($71 non-resident). Code: 10705.

Science Explorers: Kitchen ScienceAges 4–6

Monday–Thursday, July 18–21, 9:30–11:30 am

Our kitchens can be an amazing science lab. Join Science Explorers as we experiment with ingredients you can find in your kitchen. We will experiment with mixtures that fizzle, pop and stretch all while we learn about solids, liquids and gases. Be sure to dress so you can get messy. Note: Corn, wheat and dairy may be used in this class, but not consumed.. $66 ($71 non-resident). Code: 10706.

Science Explorers: Camp KinderSproutsAges 4–6

Monday–Thursday, August 1–4, 9:30–11:30 am

Exclusively for children entering kindergarten. Join Science Explorers as we discover the world around us while brushing up on the skills needed for kindergarten. Explore outer space, dinosaurs and the ocean while learning science, math, reading, writing and geography. Students will explore these topics through experiments, projects, songs and more in this fun, hands-on camp setting. $66 ($71 non-resident). Code: 10707.

Science Explorers: Mummies, Mysteries and MoreAges 4–6

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 8, 10 & 11, 9:30–11:30 am

The Egyptian civilization was one of the richest cultures of the ancient world. Join Science Explorers as we uncover this fascinating time in history as we learn about mummification and dig for artifacts. Then have fun building and learning about pyramids and their mysterious curses. Come prepared to dig in and explore the past through archaeology. $48 ($53 non-resident). Code: 10730.

Hungry for some summer reading? Join us during the lunch hour at Lions Park for four Wednesdays of book reading and discussion. Participants will be provided with a book list before the club begins and those books will be available at the Golden
