Golden Valley Puppet WagonAll ages

Each week the puppet show wagon stops by these parks with a new show. Shows will be cancelled for bad weather. Free.

Water Days Ages 6–14

Friday, June 24 & July 15, 12:30–2:15 pm
@ Scheid Park

Join the park crew and the summer Park & Recreation staff for a wet and wild day. We will operate three water slides down the big hill at Scheid Park, have a DJ playing music, and have puppet shows. Drink will be provided at the shelter building. NOTE: Organizations bringing a group by bus must make arrangements in advance to avoid over-crowding. Please call the Recreation office at 763-512-2345 to book your group. Free.

Penny CarnivalAll ages

Friday, July 29, 10:30 am–12:30 pm
@ Brookview Park

Enjoy carnival games, balloons, dunk tank, puppet shows, hay rides, popcorn, and more! Remember, just bring pennies. All activities are two to five cents. Parents will need to provide transportation to and from the park. NOTE: Organizations bringing a group by bus must make arrangements in advance. Please call the Recreation office at 763-512-2345.

Picnic & Music at Brookview Park All ages

Tuesday, August 2, 11:15 am–noon
@ Brookview Park

Pack a picnic lunch, bring a blanket, and enjoy a show by The Flyers. Tell your friends, parents, grandparents—it's for everyone! Drink and popcorn will be provided. In case of bad weather, event will be held in the large shelter.

Summer Fun with Betsy Ross and Her Flag All ages

Tuesday, June 14, 1–2 pm
@ Brookview Community Center

It’s Flag Day! Celebrate the story of the US flag through magic and music with Annette Fragale as Betsy Ross and her puppet, Uncle Sam. We will learn about our great country as we laugh and play. There will be balloons and lots of surprises for everyone. $5 per family. Code: 10685.

Playground Field Trip: Brunswick Bowl Ages 7+

Friday, June 17, 10 am (pick-up)–2:30 pm (return)

Join our summer staff for an afternoon of bowling, arcade games, and pizza. Trip includes one hour of bowling, $3 game card for the arcade, and pizza and soda for lunch. Please bring extra money for additional games and food. $22 ($27 non-resident). Code: 10793. Advance registration required. Playground Field Trip: Cascade Bay Water ParkAges 7+

Friday, July 8, 10 am (pick-up)–4 pm (return)

Join our summer staff to shoot down Twin Falls or brave the Typhoon and Hurricane Slides. Float down the Lazy River, take a dip through Rocky Rapids, or enjoy sunning at Lookout Point. Playground Field Trip: Bunker Beach Water ParkAges 7+

Friday, July 22, 10 am (pick-up)–4 pm (return)

Our summer staff supervises a trip to Bunker Beach, which has a 25,000-square-foot wave pool, water slides, and a zero depth pool with interactive play area. Tubes can be rented for $3. Guests must be 48" tall to ride the waterslides. Bring a bag lunch or money for concessions. $23 ($28 non-resident). Code: 10795. Advance registration required. Happy Birthday Party!

Celebrate your child's birthday with Annette Fragale, a popular children's entertainer. She'll present a program filled with stories, games, music and magic. Parents provide food, favors, decorations, and supervision. $150 covers two hours at Brookview. Call 763-512-2345 for more information.
