SEA School MapThe City of Golden Valley and the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission (BCWMC) are working on the design and construction of a flood reduction project on the SEA School and Wildwood Park properties in Golden Valley. This is the next phase in a series of flood mitigation projects identified in the Medicine Lake Road and Winnetka Avenue Area Long Term Flood Mitigation Plan. This project serves to benefit the areas around DeCola Ponds D, E, and F by reducing flood levels and flood damages to nearby homes and infrastructure while increasing the community’s resilience to extreme weather and climate events.
