Republic Services reported to the City that glass was found contaminating a recent organics load. Even in very small quantities, glass cannot be organics recycled as it leads to shards and splinters in the soil. Residents are strongly encouraged to think twice before putting waste in garbage, recycling, and organics recycling bins.
