Step To It Starts In Just A Few Weeks; Register Now

IMG_4092Hennepin County's Step To It program begins May 1, and registration is now open. Golden Valley residents can prepare for the challenge on the City's official Step To It walking route in the Lions Park Neighborhood.

The route one mile loop, marked by Step To It branded signage, circles Lions Park and a surrounding residential block (see trail map). The signs will remain up year-round to encourage healthy habits all year.

Step to it is a family-friendly activity challenge that motivates people of all ages and abilities to become more physically active from May 1-28. It's free, open to everyone, and a great way to get active after the long winter. The challenge is not just about walking; almost any activity counts, including running, cycling, dancing, manual wheelchair use, or many others.

Find more information and register for the Challenge by visiting steptoit.org.
