The next Golden Valley Garden Club Meeting will be held Tue, April 26, 6:30 pm at Brookview and via Webex. This month's presentation is Hardy and Easy Plants for the Home Landscape.
The presentation will begin with the functions plants can perform in the home landscape like curb appeal or framing an entrance, cooling shade or wind protection, privacy, window views, defining a space, and more. It will also cover a cross-section of plants by purpose and site conditions with an emphasis on hardy, tried and true classics and some underutilized, less common ones that are long-lived, low-input and low-maintenance. A summary of plants by selection criteria and a color catalogue will be provided.
