Glenwood Ave Watermain Rehabilitation Project Begins Next Week

Beginning the week of June 13, the Glenwood Ave Watermain Rehabilitation Project will start. The project will extend the life of the watermain another 50–100 years and is hoped to limit the number of watermain breaks along Glenwood Ave.

Crews will set up an eastbound Glenwood Ave closure from Jersey Ave to King Creek Rd. Traffic will be detoured around the closure area using Hwy 55, Hwy 100, and Glenwood Ave. The closure is expected to be set up the week of the June 13 and will be up for at least several weeks. Properties around the project area will receive a project notification flyer. The eastbound detour is needed in order to access the watermain which is located in the southern half of the roadway.

A temporary water system will be set up for properties along and adjacent to Glenwood Ave.

Additional project information can be found on the City's Street Construction Project page.
