City To Perform Mill And Overlay Near Bassett Creek Nature Area Starting Mid-June

As part of the City's Pavement Management Program, the City will be mill and overlaying the streets east of Douglas Dr, west of Hwy 100 and south of Medicine Lake Rd, North of Duluth St, beginning mid-June. See area W on the map below.

IRP_NeighborhoodsThe City's the Streets Division will remove 1.5 inches of pavement along the edges of the roadway and pave the entire road with new asphalt. There is no cost to property owners on the impacted streets. 

The pavement removal and paving operations will take place in two phases. Each phase will last a few days for individual locations, weather permitting. The road will continue to be open to traffic between the phases, but delays may occur while the work is occurring. On‑street parking will be prohibited in the areas where work is occurring. These areas will be posted in advance.
