City Completes Its Council Chambers Remodel Project

DSC_0390The City of Golden Valley recently completed a remodel of its City Hall Council Chambers and held its first council meeting in the room July 19. Upgrades to the space include an improved audio/video system, more flexibility for room configurations, HD broadcasting capabilities, and improved sightlines, sound, and lighting.

The project was originally scheduled for 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic. The room was last remodeled in 1989 and has only had AV upgrades twice since then.

To check out the renovated chambers, attend an upcoming City meeting.
