The final two days of the fall leaf drop-off at Brookview are Fri, Nov 11, 8 am–3 pm and Sat, Nov 12, 7 am–1 pm. Residents must bring valid proof of Golden Valley residency, and after City staff de-bag the leaves, the bags must be taken home for disposal or reuse.
Leaves Haven't Fallen Yet?
If you have some stubborn trees that are still holding on to their leaves, Golden Valley residents may take their leave and other lawn waste to the Maple Grove Yard Waste Site (10300 Maple Grove Parkway, Maple Grove, MN 55369) for a fee.
The site is open Mon–Sat, 8 am–7 pm and Sun, 11 am–7 pm through Nov 30.
Leave Your Leaves Out Of The Street
Residents are encouraged to keep their leaves out of the street as they they can wash into storm drains and end up in lakes and rivers where they feed algae growth. The algae then decomposes and uses up oxygen that fish and native plants need.
