On Wed, March 8, 7 pm, the Golden Valley Historical Society (GVHS) will host a presentation titled Elizabeth Scheu Close: A Life in Modern Architecture at Brookview. The event is free and open to all.
The presentation will be led by Jane King Hession, author of the award-winning book Elizabeth Scheu Close: A Life in Modern Architecture. Hession will discuss Close's life and career as a pioneering woman in the field of architecture, including her work in Golden Valley.
This is the third and final event in the GVHS’s three-part speaker series, "Voices in the Valley: Amplifying Underrepresented Histories of Golden Valley."
