The City of Plymouth’s annual tree sale begins tomorrow, March 1 and features a variety of trees, shrubs, and fruit plants selected for their resistance to pests and diseases and their adaptability to local growing conditions. Golden Valley residents can order plants from the sale through May 1. Quantities are limited, so order early.
Most of the trees will be 5 to 6 feet tall at the time of purchase and come in pots or are bare-root, which means they will not have soil on the roots. Plants will be available for pick-up May 12 and 13 at the Plymouth Public Works maintenance facility, 14900 23rd Ave N.
For information on available plants and pricing, or to place an order, visit the City of Plymouth website.
