Time is running out to sign up for a variety of summer youth recreation programs:
- T-Ball and Coach Pitch--With a focus on basic skill development for hitting, throwing, catching, and base running, T-Ball (ages 4-6) and Coach Pitch (ages 7-10) are great ways to introduce kids to the game of baseball. Register by June 5.
- Fishing Club--Kids ages 7-14 are invited to grab their fishing gear and hop on their bikes to check out some fishing hot spots around the area with Golden Valley's summer staff. Register by June 1.
- Pre-K Playground Adventure--The new Pre-K Playground Adventure invites youth ages 3.5-5 to join the playground staff for age-appropriate, outdoor summer fun in Golden Valley’s Parks. Register by June 5.
- Kids Korner Sport Sampler--Staff will guide preschoolers in basic skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship through a variety of sports at Scheid or Wesley Park. Register by June 5.
