RecTrac, the registration software used by Golden Valley Parks & Recreation, is rolling out an update that goes into effect Monday, Oct 9. This update fixes a bug that caused RecTrac emails to go into spam or junk folders.
Residents who wish to receive Parks & Recreation programming emails—which include receipts, reminders, and program updates—will need to opt-in to receive these emails beginning Oct 9. However, users who have been active in the last 180 days are automatically opted-in to receive these emails and no action is required.
New or existing inactive users will receive a verification link via email upon signing in to RecTrac. The email will ask if users wish to subscribe to future email communications regarding Parks & Recreation programming and registration updates. Users who do not opt-in will only receive receipts at check out, but will not receive emails with program updates or reminders.
