Public Invited To 9/11 Anniversary Event And Ceremony

Public safety agencies in Minnesota will come together Sept 11 in Minneapolis to observe the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the United States at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and the hijacking of United Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania. The public is invited to attend.

The free event will be held Sept 11, noon to 4:30 pm, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It will feature a large public safety display, which includes firefighting and other emergency responder equipment. As a tribute and solemn observance of the lives lost that day, a memorial ceremony will be held from 3 to 4:30 pm.
