Golden Valley Voter Turnout Nearly Double State Average

With a 17.56 percent voter turnout, Golden Valley topped the Minnesota average of around 9 percent at the polls on Primary Election Day Aug 14.

Golden Valley had 13,892 registered voters as the polls opened, with 105 registering that day, for a total of 13,997 registered voters. A total of 2,458 ballots were cast at eight polling places throughout the city. See the table below for a breakdown by precinct.
