Visitors to Golden Valley’s City website will be unable to access meeting agendas, minutes, and the City Code Monday, April 21 while the City performs scheduled maintenance on document servers. Access will be restored by Tuesday, April 22.

As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 21-25, state-wide tornado drills are scheduled for Thursday, April 24, at 1:45 pm and 6:55 pm. The outdoor warning sirens will sound as part of both drills.

The City of Plymouth’s spring tree and shrub sale is accepting orders from Golden Valley residents through May 1. Trees range from $15-$45; shrubs from $7-$10 (non-Plymouth residents will pay a few dollars extra for each selection). Quantities are limited, so order early. Read More

The Bottineau Light Rail Transitway Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is the topic of two upcoming public meetings at Golden Valley City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Rd. The first is a public open house followed by a formal public hearing hosted by the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority (HCRRA) on May 7 . The second is a formal public hearing hosted jointly by the Golden Valley Planning, Open Space and Recreation, and Environmental Commissions on May 15.
