For six years, citizen volunteers have come together to plant lilacs in the right-of-way of Hwy 55. They later revisit planted areas to see that the lilacs are properly maintained. The upcoming public meetings May 7 and 15 regarding the Bottineau Light Rail Transitway are to take comments on the proposed project’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). More meetings will be held in the future regarding whether or not the City will continue to support the Bottineau Transitway project.
