The Golden Valley Police Department (GVPD) received an emailed commendation this week from a resident of another community who was stopped for speeding and subsequently ticketed by a Golden Valley police officer. It acknowledges the officer’s professionalism, respectfulness, and kindness, saying in summary: “I never thought I’d be writing a commendation for an officer that gave me a ticket.”  Read More
