METRO Blue Line Open House Is Oct 28 At City Hall

The public is invited to attend an open house Wednesday, Oct 28, from 5-7:30 pm, to learn about the environmental analysis conducted for the METRO Blue Line Extension (Bottineau LRT) light rail project. The event will be held at Golden Valley City Hall, 7800 Golden Valley Rd.

METRO-Blue-Line-Extension-map-LargeThe meeting will be an open house format, so feel free to come and go at any time. Staff will be available to answer your questions and receive your comments. The goals for the open house are to:

  • provide information on environmental impacts and schedule for completing the environmental documentation
  • receive feedback from the community on potential environmental impacts and benefits
  • provide the latest information on ongoing LRT design and station area plans

Similar open house events are also scheduled for other cities along the Bottineau LRT line Minneapolis, Robbinsdale, Crystal, and Brooklyn Park).
