Step To It Challenge Begins Monday

If you want a fun and easy way to get in shape this spring, the four-week Step To It Challenge is for you. The challenge is a casual way to connect with family, friends, and neighbors and get moving again after a long winter. The program runs May 1-28.
Step To It participants keep a running total of the steps they take during the challenge using a pedometer or the online activity conversion chart. Other activities such as biking, skateboarding, Tai Chi, or even just mowing the lawn can also count toward overall steps. The Step To It Challenge website allows you to record your steps online. Best of all, it’s free to participate!
Hennepin County honors the winning city (the city with the most collective steps) with a variety of prizes.
