The Golden Valley farmers market, Market in the Valley, starts Sunday, June 18. The market takes place under the water tower at City Hall Campus, 7800 Golden Valley Rd.

Since the groundbreaking last October, the new Brookview is starting to look more like its final form. The foundation was completed in the last few months, and much of the work inside and outside of the building is well under way.

Beginning Tuesday, June 13, Douglas Dr will close to through traffic from Golden Valley Rd to just north of the Hwy 55 Frontage Rd as crews begin reconstruction in the area. Alternate routes and signage will be provided

The City’s new street banners in downtown Golden Valley will soon feature public artwork, thanks to a partnership with the newly formed Golden Valley Arts League (GVAL). These banners will replace the old, damaged ones that line a few streets near City Hall campus. Submissions are being accepted now!

Properties Along Portion Of Douglas Dr Construction Project To Experience Overnight Water Shut-Off June 9-10

As crews replace old underground water pipes as part of the Douglas Dr (County Rd 102) reconstruction project, homes and businesses along a portion of the project will experience an interruption of water service June 9-10 between 7 pm and 7 am.
