Wirth Parkway To Close June 1 At Zenith Ave For CenterPoint Belt Line Project

As part of CenterPoint Energy’s 2018 Belt Line Project, crews will close Theodore Wirth Parkway at Zenith Ave June 1-8 to install the natural gas main. Dates of week-long closure may vary a few days depending on the weather.

During this closure, crews will restore the areas affected by construction. Detour signs will be posted on site (see map for detour).

Beginning within the week of June 4 and lasting for approximately one week, crews will install natural gas main across Golden Valley Rd at Theodore Wirth Parkway. Neither of these roads will be closed. Work will cross Golden Valley Rd in phases, allowing drivers to head west from the intersection.

Restoration on 10th Ave N and Rhode Island Ave N between Winnetka Ave N and Golden Valley Rd will be finished by June 20. At that time, the closure on Rhode Island Ave N at Golden Valley Road will be lifted.
