Golden Valley Once Again Has Strong Voter Turnout In Primary Election

With a 41.39 percent voter turnout, Golden Valley once again topped the Minnesota average at the polls on Primary Election Day Aug 14.

Golden Valley had 15,084 registered voters as the polls opened, with 237 registering that day and an additional 48 new absentee registrations, for a total of 15,369 registered voters. A total of 6,361 ballots were cast at eight polling places throughout the city. See the table below for a breakdown by precinct.
