New Pickleball Courts In Golden Valley

Two pickleball courts have been added to Wildwood Park (7401 Duluth St) and, although construction continues at the park, the courts are now ready for play.

Pickleball is a game played on a badminton or tennis court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

For more information about the new courts, contact the Golden Valley Parks & Recreation Department at 763-512-2345.
