MnDOT Construction Reduces Hwy 55 To One Lane

To make safety improvements, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is reducing Hwy 55 between Hwy 100 and Theodore Wirth Pkwy to a single lane in both directions Sept 12-25.

The work includes curb, gutter, guardrail, and culvert replacement and the removal of roadside trees. While no full lane closures or detours are expected, the project will continue west towards Rockford, MN throughout the fall.
