The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will make a stop in Golden Valley Tue, Dec 11, at 4:50 pm. The free event is great for all ages and will support PRISM, Golden Valley’s local food shelf. Attendees are encouraged to bring healthy food donations.

An employee at a Golden Valley business went into sudden cardiac arrest Wed, Oct 31 and was resuscitated by coworkers, performing CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), until Golden Valley Police and Fire arrived followed by North Memorial Paramedics. Many employees at this local business had taken the Hands Only CPR/AED Training course offered by the Golden Valley Fire Department (GVFD), and luckily the employee in question is alive and doing well today.
