Registration For The 25th Annual Run The Valley Now Open

Run The Valley, one of Golden Valley’s most popular events, will mark its 25th anniversary April 13, 2019. Participants can save money by registering now.

Sponsored by the Golden Valley Human Services Fund (GVHSC)Run The Valley raises funds for local human service organizations that benefit the community. Since the GVHSC was formed, more than $1.5 million has been allocated to these organizations like PRISM, Crisis Nursery, and Senior Community Services Outreach, with the help of events like Run The Valley.

The morning will kick off at 7:45 am with a 0.2K Kids Fun Run. The 10K race begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K race at 8:10 am and the 5K walk at 8:15 am. Starting and finishing is near the Brookview entrance (316 Brookview Parkway S), this certified course runs through residential Golden Valley. Water stops and post-race complimentary snacks are donated by area businesses.


The Run The Valley race fee is $35 until March 14, $40 March 15-April 12, and $45 on race day. Those signing up for the 5k walk can register for $25 and kids signing up for the 0.2k Fun Run can register for $5. Children 12 and under may register for $20 when accompanied by an adult entry. All registered runners and walkers will receive a t-shirt. Sizes guaranteed if registered by March 1.

  • In Person – Register in person at Brookview, 316 Brookview Parkway S (M-F, 8 am-9 pm) with the 2019 registration form.
  • By Mail – Download the 2019 registration form and submit by mail with payment to 316 Brookview Parkway, Golden Valley, MN 55426.
