In many cases, the price of a vehicle maintenance repair can be costly for drivers, and receiving a ticket for an equipment violation only makes things worse. With the City’s new No Ticket, Just Fix It program, the Golden Valley Police Department is hoping to help drivers with at least some of that cost.
Plow crews started clearing streets at 5 am today to prepare for the morning rush hour. Crews will then transition into a full plow at 10 am and will be off the roads by the evening rush hour and plan to resume plowing at 2 am Thursday morning to clear any remaining areas.
When it comes to cleaning and unclogging sewers, Golden Valley maintenance workers have seen it all. Mops, bed sheets, diapers, and needles are just a few things that have clogged up City sewer pumps over the past few years. The City is hoping its new Sewer Chewer will make such clogs a thing of the past.
