Deadline To Nominate For Bill Hobbs Award Is Sept 30, 4:30 PM
The Golden Valley Human Rights Commission (HRC) is accepting nominations for the 2019 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award. The award recognizes members in the Golden Valley community who work to build an environment promoting fair and equal treatment for everyone. The deadline to nominate is Sept 30, 2019, 4:30 pm.
Earlier this year local activist Rose McGhee received the 2018 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award for her support and promotion of human rights education through the creation of Sweet Potato Comfort Pies: A Catalyst for Caring and Building Community.
