Six Days Left To Take The City’s Waste Hauling Survey

The Golden Valley City Council is still seeking public input from residents on waste hauling preferences. Residents have until Sept 30, 4:30 pm to respond to the survey.

This fall the Council will consider modifying the City’s current waste hauling licensing ordinance. Goals include:

  • ensuring residents have options for service
  • improving environmental outcomes
  • minimizing impacts to infrastructure and enhancing neighborhood livability (cleaner, safer, quieter, and healthier)
  • avoiding significant cost increases all around
  • increasing the understanding of the waste disposal process to achieve community goals

The survey can be accessed here or by visiting the City’s waste hauling web page.
