Fun Parks And Recreation Activities Coming Up

The Golden Valley Parks and Recreation Department is hosting some fun activities in the next few week that are perfect opportunities to get the kids out of the house.

AlphaBits Kids Concert, Thur, Feb 13, 11–11:45 am, Brookview

Escape the cold and rock out at Brookview! Enjoy an interactive show with familiar songs, dancing, clapping, and hopping. This free event is sure to have everyone out of their seats and moving to a groovy beat!

Mites Nature Camp – Snowshoeing, Fri, Feb 21, Westwood Hills Nature Center

This outdoor, nature-focused experience offers preschool children a chance to explore the wilderness and learn through hands-on activities and games. Instruction and equipment provided by Westwood Hills Nature Center in St Louis Park. Register here by Feb 14.

Stories of the World, Thur, March 19, 10:30–11:15 am, Brookview

Join Katie Knutson and her puppet friends as they explore stories from around the world. This free event will have you and your children speaking both Spanish and English as you move and laugh through songs and stories from other cultures.
