Watch The City’s Virtual Organics Recycling Open House

The City of Golden Valley posted a virtual Organics Recycling Open House on YouTube that residents can watch on their own time. The City is also offering an online comment box for residents to ask questions about organics recycling and the open house.

Following its goals in the Resilience and Sustainability chapter of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan, the City is exploring the best way to implement curbside organics recycling and is seeking input from the community through a variety of different ways.

Virtual Open House

Residents are encouraged to watch all of part of the open house and share questions or feedback through an online comment box. Comments will be taken until May 20.

The City of Golden Valley is asking residents to complete a survey on organics recycling, to gather information on how residents currently recycle their organics and what they would like to see in a curbside collection service. Take the survey here. The survey will conclude on May 20.

All feedback will be compiled for City Council and public review.
