The Golden Valley Human Rights Commission (HRC) is accepting nominations for the 2020 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award. The award recognizes members in the Golden Valley community who work to build an environment promoting fair and equal treatment for everyone. The deadline to nominate is Sept 30, 2020, 4:30 pm.

Earlier this year two residents received the 2019 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award—Ruth Paradise for her work to create and preserve affordable housing in Golden Valley and Gloria Peck for her diverse offerings to the community through PRISM, the Golden Valley Pride Festival, the HRC, and more.
