At its June 15 meeting, the Golden Valley City Council voted to replace the Human Rights Commission (HRC) with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission (DEIC). The new commission is an extension of the research and work by the Rising TIDES Task Force over the last 2-1/2 years. The DEIC will hold its meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month, starting July 27, 2021.
