At its Dec 3 meeting, the Golden Valley City Council adopted the City’s proposed 2020-2021 biennial budget and 2020 tax levy (payable 2020). The total 2020 budget is $25,073,034. The total budget includes a General Fund tax levy of $19,649,140 and a bonded debt levy of $5,423,894. Read More

Since 2012, the City of Golden Valley has received nearly 70 grants totaling $9.83 million from various local, county, state, and national groups. It has used the funds for park improvements, firefighter training, public works projects, and more. In 2019, the City’s grants totaled nearly $400,000. Read More
