As Golden Valley begins its post-storm emergency curbside brush pickup today, the City reminds residents to carefully follow guidelines for setting out tree debris or it will not be picked up. Currently several residences have brush and log piles stacked on or near obstructions, meaning the contractor’s automated loading mechanism won’t be able to pick them up.

At an emergency meeting June 24 at 9:30 am, the Golden Valley City Council voted to fund a one-time brush pickup to help residents dispose of fallen trees and branches resulting from city-wide damage from last weekend’s storms. The City will also open a temporary tree debris drop off site.
