MnDOT will be closing Hwy 55 two weekends in August to mill and overlay the asphalt pavement. The first closure will be westbound Hwy 55 between Hwy 169 and Hwy 100, starting Fri, Aug 13 at 10 pm until Mon, Aug 16 at 5 am. CenterPoint Energy will close Laurel Ave between Hampshire Ave S and Colorado Ave S Monday July 19 to Wednesday July 21, 7 am-5 pm, (weather permitting) for utility work. Traffic will be detoured to Wayzata Blvd.

City crews will begin this summer’s mill and overlay project June 28, weather permitting. The project is expected to take about two to three weeks to complete, and the project is expected to have minimal impact on traffic and the roadways will remain open throughout the project. Read More

Xcel Energy will be performing maintenance work on northbound Winnetka Ave north of Golden Valley Rd over the next few weeks. The work will require a shutdown of the eastern most northbound lane on Winnetka Ave. The lane closure will be used periodically over the next few weeks. Read More

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is set to begin a pavement replacement project on Theodore Wirth Pkwy the week of June 21. During construction, sections of the Pkwy will be closed to vehicle traffic. Read More

Starting the week of June 21, CenterPoint Energy will begin replacing natural gas lines on Florida Ave S, south of Laurel Ave, Wayzata Blvd, between Hampshire Ave and Florida Ave S, and Laurel Ave, between Jersey Ave and Florida Ave S. Read More
