Hennepin County will be repaving Glenwood Ave between Hwy 100 in Golden Valley and Thomas Ave in Minneapolis beginning May 25. Crews expect to have the project completed within the week, weather permitting.

Hennepin County will begin work on the Glenwood Ave (County Rd 40) mill and overlay project the week of Monday, May 18, weather permitting. The work will occur between Hwy 100 and Thomas Ave in Minneapolis. Flaggers will be in place to direct vehicles around the work zone.

Starting Saturday, May 9, Rock Underground will be working on a fiber project in the vicinity of Winnetka Ave N and 10th Ave. The work will include a lane shift on Winnetka Ave Monday and Tuesday, May 11-12. The area will be marked with cones and signs.

As part of its continuing Metro Belt Line Project, CenterPoint Energy is working on Winnetka Ave N between 10th Ave and 42nd Ave N in Golden Valley, New Hope, and Crystal through November 2020. Work will occur in four phases, and drivers should expect delays for the duration of the project and use alternate routes.

Due to concerns about the economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, the City Council decided at its April 7 meeting to postpone the 2020 Pavement Management Program (PMP) project and associated special assessments. The Council will consider whether to move forward with other street projects this year at upcoming meetings.
