The Golden Valley Police Department (GVPD) honored its dedicated staff during the annual Employee Appreciation Banquet on Saturday, Jan 25, at City Hall. The ceremony recognized outstanding service, bravery, and commitment to the community, with awards presented in several categories.
Life Saving Award
Awarded to members whose promptness and alert actions saved a life.

Unit Citation Award
Awarded to members for exceptional performance of duty/service, which reflected good credit upon the department and the law enforcement profession as a whole.
